The 0.4 ohm runs warmest with more vapour, good for looser RDL draws. At the other end, the 1.2 ohm gives you a tight pull at low wattage, closest to how a cigarette draws. The 0.6 ohm sits in between and handles both MTL and RDL depending on your airflow setting. If you mainly vapeĀ nic salts, the 0.8 or 1.2 ohm coils are the ones to go for.
Digi Max and Digi Pro Coil Compatibility
Geekvape J coils fit both the Digi Max and Digi Pro through the J Empty Pod cartridge. You can't use them without the empty pod - the coil pushes into the pod base, then the pod clicks into the kit. Both devices auto-detect your coil resistance and adjust the wattage through Smart Mode. All four resistances work in both kits.
The J coils don't fit other Geekvape pod systems like the Wenax Q2 or Soul 2. Those use their own pod types with built-in coils.
How to Change a J Coil
Pull the old coil straight out of the J Empty Pod base. Push the new one in until it clicks. Before you fill up, drop a few spots of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton inside the coil to prime it. Fill the pod, then leave it for 5 minutes so the cotton soaks through properly. Skipping the priming step usually means a burnt taste on the first few draws.
